i have groomsmen on the east coast, midwest, and west coast.. with the wedding in Indiana.. theres a specific tuxedo we want that the typical men’s warehouse doesn’t carry.. does anyone have any suggestions on how to ensure everyone rent the same tux in different locations?
also the only “nationwide” place ive seen that carries this particular tux is “mytuxedocatalog.com”. does anyone know how this works and if it is reliable??

Jos. A Banks have locations everywhere in the US and more selection than Men’s Wearhouse. the groom goes to the local store to choose the style– can be purchased or rentals– and the clerk will open a group order. Pass the order number along to the groomsmen who can go to their local store to get fitted. If renting, everything gets sent to the shop local to the wedding.

I have the same situation, groomsmen are in all different states. FI has been in several weddings out of state. We plan to go look at tuxes in like 3 months (2-3 months before wedding) decide on the one we want, then the groomsmen go get measured at any tux shop nearby them and the shop sends the measurements to men’s warehouse location. It’s usually never an issue.

If you know the tuxedo you want, can you not give each groomsman a list of the stores in his area that carry that tuxedo? They can go into the closest store for measurements and take care of the financials, and ask that the tux be available for pickup at the store closest to the wedding, so they don’t have to carry them cross country.
You can usually find lists of stores on the designers’ websites.
