My husband and I got married 17 years ago at the JOP, therefore, we never had that fairytale wedding. For our 18th anniversary (2/14/15), we have decided to finally have the wedding we always wanted. Our colors are red, white, and black. It’s going to be a simple, yet elegant wedding, on a budget! While my dress will be white (bouquet will be red), I’d like my MOH’s dress to be red with the bridesmaids dresses being black; all with white bouquets. My groom with wear a black tux (unless he can talk me into white, more than likely not), with white underneath. I would like for his BM to have red under his tux, such as the vest and the bow tie; he’ll also have a white boutineer. I would like for his groomsmen to wear black under their tuxedo’s to go along with my bridesmaids, but I’m just not sure if that’s the way to go. I’m also conflicted on the colors for our ushers. I already know I’d like for them to wear black button up’s, with a white boutineer, but what color tie (red, white, black, or even silver). I’d appreciate some feedback on what colors would go best, after all, we’re celebrating our past, present, and future, not the loss of a loved one. I’d also welcome any tips anyone has that aids in staying within a budget.
