Can you get him a pair of tickets to a ball game close to where he lives? (if there is a team where he lives?)
Maybe club seats that include food and beverages?
@julies1949: thanks julie, that definitely crossed my mind, but he lives in a city where the team's tix are pricey ($50 pr ticket at least) and that means I will have to buy him 2 tix for him and someone else since he won't go the game himself. I already got him the duffle which won't make him feel left out of the guys completely, but buying 2 tix would be way over my budget I spent for everyone else and for my own financial limits. I will have to look more into that though. Thanks for the help!
Have you thought about a beer of the month club? I think that might be a cool idea if he is in to that...
@devybug: We did that for one of our GM too! We also gave another GM a gift cert to Omaha Steaks. They actually send meat to your home. It's pretty cool if he's a foodie or likes to BBQ.
@MrsMcGyro:Thanks Mrs. McGyro, I think he enjoys steaks...I wonder how much that will cost. Another great idea!!

I have a slight dilemna with regard to one of our groomsmen. He lives far from us and the rest of the groomsmen and groom. In addition to purchasing all the groomsmen a monogrammed weekender duffle as one of two gifts, we also are taking all the guys to a baseball game a few weeks after the wedding since they all live in/or around our city except for the 1 groomsmen who lives far away and cannot make the trip for the game. What would an ideal gift to get him to supplement his absence from the game in addition to the duffle bag?
