Anyone have any good, creative ideas for Groomsmen gifts? I have a gazillion ideas for BM's gifts but the FI is drawing a blank on groomsmen. Thanks for any help!

Nifty knives? Those are always handy and manly. Our best man always gives them as gifts to my fiance. Since the groomsmen are wearing kilts at our wedding, they're getting sgian dubhs! And then they can prance around like they're in "Braveheart." Hmm... only give such a thing if they don't have to fly elsewhere after the wedding, though...

i mentioned these to my FI and he didn't immediately shoot it down (promising): http://www.reef.com/guys/productdetail/guys/footwear/sandals/2586

they're flip flops with a tee and ball marker inside them (for the golf lover). reef also has ones with bottle openers on the bottom (i have a pair of those, very comfy), and with a flask inside of them (not so comfy, i imagine): http://www.reef.com/guys/productdetail/guys/footwear/sandals/2597

Our groomsmen and dads are getting personalized cuff links (made from typewriter keys from etsy.com) and neck ties... both to wear the day-of but both definitely rewearable.

A friend of mine got a sports jersey when he was a best man. The groom had a hall-of-fame jersey made for each groomsman that was significant to each person for a particular reason. E.g. favorite player, year they graduated college, etc. That was the first time I ever heard of a guy being fired up with their groomsmen present.

We are thinking the traditional flask with a bottle of their favorite alcohol. But with the BM gifts being kinda big (bags, with names filled with goodies!) I feel like something little bittly might seem odd and like we like the girls better.

Then again these are guys I doubt anyone will notice....right? LOL.

The guys definitly won't notice :) I've gone much over budget for the girls gifts. I had originally thought I would buy them pashminas, now I have a whole bag full of things!

I doubt the boys would even notice if they didn't get a gift!

My groomsmen are all golfers (some very poor golfers) so I bought them all Nike putters.  A little expensive but these guys flew/drove from all over the USA and rented rooms, etc.  $100 or so per person is really not that much in the big picture of things.

We are doing flasks because my FI received one as a groomsmen and loves it!  We will also do the ties for the wedding and possibly a nice bottle of wiskey or something for the flask.

This is totally random, but we're considering it for each groomsman...  stock. There are several websites, but here is one example http://www.oneshare.com/ We will decide on a price range and then buy a share in a company that is personalized to each guy ex- for the golfers/ Callaway or Nike.  They send you a certificate which we will frame... and throw in a pack of their favorite beer.  Who knows, maybe it will pay off well for one of them someday Groomsmen gifts? : wedding Icon Biggrin

Our groomsmen have very different tastes, so my FI couldn't do anythign related to alcohol (a few don't drink) or sports (varied interests) etc etc.  Eventually he decided to get everyone some nice Aviator sunglasses from SGH - that way they can wear them in some of the fun pre-wedding pics and if they don't like them, they can return them for something they do like.

One other idea is you can give our personalized ipod's - the shuffles start at $50....

We lucked out big time and found Kenneth Cole stainless watches at Burlington Coat Factory for $39.99!  We also found beautiful italian silk ties on ebay for $25 each which also eliminated the need to rent "ties"with their tux.  If you like the watch idea and don't have a Burlington near you, try other off-price discount department stores like TJ Maxx or Filene's.  Good luck and have fun planning!!! Score for 1154lillonlocation! Thank you soooo much for the pub sign idea - I quickly dashed it off to my groom and low and behold - another check off the checklist.  I think they're really unique and look awesome.  Affordable too!

My fiance came up with the totally awesome idea last night to get our guys each a rotary tool set and then an accompanying accessory set for the rotary tool.  I am not a big tool person, but this tool literally does EVERYTHING and we think that they'll all really dig it.

We'll also be giving them each books that are individualized to their tastes.
