We got our BM a Garmin 310XT--he's a triathlete, so he can track his running, swimming, HR, & biking with it.
I am a fan of useful gifts. I saw another post on here awhile ago. Her FI was getting his guys neat coolers with a 12 pack of their fav beer. I know that our groomsmen would LOVE this! =)
My FI is doing engraved knives....yeah I don't get it but apparently it's "manly"
I also found some nice money clips at the jewelry store I suggested, he didn't go for it, but they can be engraved too!
Don't ask my why but FI is getting our groomsmen Katana swords.
I'm looking for answers too, thanks for posting. So far the FH likes a pilsner glass with initials engraved and their favorite sports team's logo on the other side.
It took us a while to figure out what to get the groomsmen too- all the traditional stuff that we found just wasn't really something the guys would like. Instead, since FI and his groomsmen are all basketball fans (lakers), we got all the groomsmen Lakers Jerseys. It was something we knew they'd like and wear/use :)
LOL @ the katana swords! One hopes he's not trying to pull off a renactment of Kill Bill at the wedding
We gave our groomsmen each an engraved Leatherman multi-tool, the ties they wore in our wedding, and a wooden box of fly-fishing flies that my husband tied himself and made for all them (they all went fishing the day before the wedding, so this made sense). I posted about some good groomsmen gift ideas a few months ago, feel free to check this out: http://runninglawyer.blogspot.com/2009/10/gift-guide-groomsmen.html
Great Ideas, Thanks for your tips!
Does anyone know of anymore good websites for grooms/men?
I'm doing crates from Kingscrates but I think that's only in Ontario. I'm sure you could easily make one on your own though!
Sorry I should say the crate is for FI, not the groomsmen although I'm sure they'll all partake in the contents. FI is thinking about buying the suits for all his GM but I think that's a bit over the top. I'm putting together little "wedding kits" for the GM because there's one stinky one (I'm totally serious about this) and I need a polite way to tell him to wear deoderant. So I'm making them little kits of deoderant, cologne, floss, travel toothbrush, maybe some cufflinks.. That kind of stuff.
I'm from southern Ontario, so I just checked out the King's Crates site...what a great idea!! I think they are perfect...have to see what the FI thinks.
Thanks! :)
This was seriously the hardest wedding decision! Mr. S got the guys handmade leather... wallets? Bill holders? Smaller than a wallet, bigger than a money clip! And stuck a gift card in each one to a place that the recipient would like. Hopefully like, anyway. :)

Hello!!
My fiance and I have been racking our brains for a unique groomsmen gift. The guys in his party have all been in weddings recently and so all of the usual groomsmen gifts have been received (mugs, flasks, golf clubs, poker chips, etc.)
Would anyone have any ideas for good keepsake gifts for groomsmen?
Thanks!! :)
Mrs. McLean to be!
