Hi, hive.  I need some help, pretty please!

I still have some time as the wedding is 3 months away, but I'm at a loss as to what to get our groomsmen.  We have 3 - FI's brother, my brother and a close friend to us both.  They are ALL so different that a standard groomsmen gift just isn't going to fit.  I'd love some suggestions!

Here is the breakdown on the 3.

FI's brother - best man, 23, never been in a wedding, single, works at Best Buy as an installer, thus loves electronics but with a discount he gets whatever he wants whenever he wants, not sporty - pretty stereotypical single 23 yr old guy

My brother - groomsman, 41, about to have his second baby, computer programer who loves mountain biking, volleyball and football.  Dressesup for work, but I don't think he'd ever wear cufflinks if we gave that gift.  A real guy's guy who loves his family, but plays sports and enjoys some beers on the weekends

Close friend - groomsman, 36, graphic designer and works in adversiting, recently (about 2 yrs ago) came out and is very metrosexual, into politics and not at all into sports.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.  We've thought of bourbon since we're in KY, cufflinks, knives, Louisville slugger baseball bats - some typical gifts and nothing seems to fit.  We want to spend about $100 for each guy.  Any ideas?  I need a new set of thoughts on this because I'm worn out from thinking about it!

    Thanks in advance ladies!!

How about a Flip?  I know you mentioned that your Fi's brother works at Best Buy and can just buy whatever he wants when he wants it with his discount but it still might be a good thing for him.

    http://www.amazon.com/Flip-Ultra-Camcorder-60-Minutes-Black/dp/B000V1PXMI/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1245027452&sr=8-6

Or maybe look at what each guy's hobbies are.  You mentioned that one of the groomsmen enjoyed beer.  You could do a beer of the month subscription.  Or get him some nice pint glasses with the brand that he enjoys along with some beer and you could even incorporate some sports memoribilia from his fav. team.  There are a ton of items out there made from seats of various stadiums, pens, cufflinks, etc. that a sports fan would love.

My brother gave his guys leatherman tools engraved with their initials that they all have really enjoyed.

We had cufflinks made for our guys with their respective college mascots.  Then we also gave them their favorite beer with matching pint glasses.  We wrapped it all up inside a collapsible cooler.

Check out http://www.uncommongoods.com/ you might find something there that if nothing else sparks an idea.

I hope this helps!  Good luck!

As long as none of your guys are vegetarian, Omaha Steaks is fun.  My FI was in a wedding last year.  Each of the men got personalized grilling utensils and a gift card to Omaha Steaks.  Their meat is great, it comes packaged in dry ice, and is delivered to your home.  It was cute, fun, and consumable!

MY FH and I got the grooms people coach wallets from the outlet store. They usuall have pretty decent discounts and we got the smaller non-billfold for $24 each.

How about getting them a valet? It could work for all of them! I got one for FI and he loves it because he never would have bought it for himself! Crate and Barrel has them on sale for $30!

Groomsman 1 could put all his gadgets in the charging section, Groomsman 2 will have his own "space" at home and Groomsman 3 will enjoy the "metro-ness" of it!

This is the exact one I got FI for Christmas a few years ago :) http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=1580&f=25515&q=valet&fromLocation=Search&DIMID=400001&SearchPage=1

We did a bar theme for our groomsmen. My husband bought them all personalized bar signs which they all loved and have them hanging in their basements or bachelor pads if not married. We also got them a little mini bar tool set and a bottle of their favorite liquor. The personalized bar signs were a huge hit, and you can't go wrong with alcohol as long as they all drink!

I am going to second alcohol as a good gift. We bought more expensive bottles that we knew they would like, but wouldn't necessarily buy for themselves. We did cufflinks, too, but only because they needed them for the shirts they wore for the wedding (which we also paid for).

Have you checked out the store at weddingchannel.com? the items on here are not pricey at all so you could do a combination of these things with something else. I would suggest doing something different for each guy to fit their personalities. It sounds like they are all completely different people so it would be nice to get them something that fits their interests.

we're too broke to buy a "nice" gift, so my idea was to buy them all a 12pack of their fav beer, lol.

At first I thought an engraved flask and some alc for the 23 yr old, but then I changed to engraved ipod shuffles for each of them-they're $79.00 at the Apple Store online (and they're handy and small and work well for exercising or on the go types)... if any one of them already has that substitute with the engraved flask or a monogrammed tie (tiebar.com)...  Or get them all monogrammed ties to wear to your wedding and then a bottle of alc as well.
