@iheartnerds: Thanks! Here's an image of the tie and a swatch of the BM Dresses if that helps as well. Close enough, right?

@Miss Holly: Im in the same position - bridesmaids dresses are cobalt blue, while the ties are more royal blue. I've decided that it will be just fine! Not the end of the world...so hopefully it's the same for you!
Yes, nobody is going to put the two next to each other to check and even if they did (which would be insane), they still are fine :)

absolutely close enough!! :) I am an advocate for mixing different tones of the same color...looks less matchy matchy and a tad bit more chic to me!
We are in the same boat. Here is the pic of our tie and our dresses. A tad off, but I think it'll still work.

Thanks so much Ladies! I knew this wasn't worth driving myself crazy.
My briadesmaids are also wearing the organic green taffeta dresses from J.Crew and we are trying to find matching ties for the groomsmen! I actually called J.Crew today and they said that they could special order the silk ties in the organic green color! However, it takes 6-8 weeks and my wedding is in four weeks. They are going to try to rush the order but we'll see. BTW - what color did you end up picking from TieBar?...in case we need a back-up!

Our lovely bridesmaid are wearing J. Crew Silk Taffeta Dresses in Organic Green. We wanted to get the groomsmen (and the groom!) matching ties. Of course, since J. Crew doesn't make matching ties, the ties that I found on TieBar are not an exact match. They are about a shade lighter and also shimmer-y then the bridesmaid's dresses. Is that a big deal? Or is it all going to blend together in photographs?
