I’m sorry… try to stay cool in the last days until your wedding.  Your FI might just be as stressed as you and any changes might be throwing him off like his reactions are throwing you off.

Was this an issue before engagement, or it’s just the stress of the wedding? “I’m open to it” sounds a bit controlling…

He said he had reservations – maybe he had some surprise plans for you two and that threw him off?

It just sound like to me that you two need to sit down tonight and go over all the last minute details that need to be hammered out.  If he isn’t one to deal well with suprises or last minute changes, you two just need to set up a plan for what your expectations are in the upcomming weeks and how to handle changes.

Deep breaths! You’re both probably stressing about what you have to do the few days before your wedding, so just wait until you get a chance to talk with him about it. Try not to jump down his throat about his comment – I’m sure he didn’t mean it in a condescending “I’ll allow it to happen” sort of way. Just talk it through and try to remain calm!
