What about using runners? I really wanted runners, but think they go better on square tables and ours are round. Once you choose a fabric for them maybe that will inspire the rest of your look.
Yea I have seen a picture in mind but I am currently thinking of ivory table clothes with a long blue tiffany runner down each table, after that I am stuck
I found this photo that I thought was really cute if my venue had square tables.

What is your range of budget? High, low. I would definitely go with a round arrangement to breakup the squareness of the tables and the runner is a great idea.
Actually, to bring color to my cocktail hour tables, I actually bought $4 pashminas at a street fair in NYC. They have an elegant design on them and a slight shine. Very elegant and won't break the budget!I am then going to give these after the wedding to the mothers, grandmothers and bridesmaids (hopefully no one stains them, and of course after I wash them).

So I am on the edge of a breakdown (yes literally) for weeks now I have been looking at center pieces and etc... and I am still stuck with 100 and some odd days to go! I have no idea what I am looking for my center pieces. My venue informed me they no longer have round tables so they have square tables. Which I am fine with and have found a gorgeous picture of how I set up the tables for my venue, but I have no idea what to put on square tables( i am horrible with shapes, they are the tables, that 6 could sit at)
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions, I am soooo lost.
