I am sorry this is happening to you. As of yet, I am not having this problem.
something similar was happening to me. Make sure it didnt post, or that its not still filled in at the bottom. It is happening to mine when the font formatting is automatically updating (like HTML to rich, etc) but my font stays there. I still have the issue where after a few replies, it keeps telling me "YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO SUBMIT SOME CONTENT!" then everything Ive typed is gone. Thats irritating too
I always have trouble opening pages in the boards, but not the blogs. Whenever I click on a thread, it takes forever and a day to load, and usually ends up with "the connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." Only happens to me on Weddingbee. I haven't had your problem, though...I'm lucky if I can get a thread open to start replying!

before i can hit submit ... I'm not touching anything! It doesn't let me go back and the reply I thoughtfully typed out is GONE! Wth.
