So I just wanted to vent a sec that there are no what I consider REASONABLE dresses in Tiffany blue. We are having a fairly small simple wedding and I can't find a dress in the right color for under $60 and my BMs are on a serious budget (two of them are our daughters so we will be buying those.) I am thinking we may have to go with a different shade of blue. I found a couple of cute ones but not in the exact shade I need.

Thanks for listening Bees I feel better!

***Edited to add, the wedding is on the beach so I was thinking a simple sundress of some sort that is why I thought it would be cheap!

I totally understand! It's very frustrating when colors that we have our hearts set on are not very plentiful in the available collections.

I had a simliar problem. I had a very specific shade of Caribbean blue silk taffeta dress in mind, and I could not find it anywhere! I finally found it in a fabric sample -- and I was thrilled, only to find out that the designer had stopped making bridesmaids dresses! However, because the bridal salon owner was a personal friend of the designer, she was able to convince her to make the gowns for me, and, after the designer was able to order the fabric and made them for us, I loved them! Unfortunately, they were $300 each, and, like you and your FI, DH and I had to purchase two for his daughters, and I also paid for half of the dress for a matron of honor and a junior bridesmaid.

I wish you much success in your search!

@Brielle:  Oh man! I am so glad your vision worked out but ouch...that's definitely not an option for us. I looked on the DressilyMe site and the cheapest thing I found that I liked was still almost $100 plus shipping.

I was a little bummed but then...I started my massive search tonight of all the usual sites that I shop at and on Old Navy look what I found!

    http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=73355&vid=1&pid=114028&scid=114028022

So, chocolate brown being one of our colors, I think this will work AND I got 25% off today only sale so I got dresses for both girls for $53 shipped free! YAY!

I can do Tiffany blue for their bouquets and maybe a sash or belt and a flower for their hair and it pulls it all in with the wedding colors. WOO HOO!!! I am so excited!

@BodyByViGirl:  That's great! I'm so happy that you found something you love that will go with your wedding colors! Tiffany blue and chocolate brown will look great together!

By the way, here are the bridesmaid and junior bridesmaid gowns we ended up having. Ridiculously pricey, I know, but isn't the color both rare and amazing!? :)

@slicey19:  Exactly! I am buying them all the right color blue flip flops (beach wedding) and (if I have the patience!) strassing with matching crystals. Smile

@Brielle:  Thanks!!! It's all coming together! Smile

For that price point, I would probably look for something off the rack.  It's a popular color and I've seen lots of beautiful pictures of bridesmaids wearing forever21 or H&M dresses.  It will probably give you a lot more options.

My colors are Tiffany blue and brown too and I am having a very difficult time finding dresses. I have decided to have them all wear nude and then my color ribbons around their waists. I am also not fond of having my colors all over the place, so if you want them to be center of attention that probably wouldn't be the best option for you.

Mine are "pool" by Alfred Angelo... basically Tiffany Blue.  They do have one chiffon dress option that might work and is $99.  Perhaps they may be able to work that out??  It's so frustrating how expensive the dresses are....

Thanks all! I went with these dresses from Old Navy - http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=73355&vid=1&pid=114028&scid=114028022 then we will do a sash in the right color along with the crystal flip flops and a hair  flower.

@BostonFall2012Bee:  My daughter really liked those but they would not have worked for 2 of my more um, chesty BMs.

@Mrs.GtoBe:  That is awesome! Sadly out of the budget of at least 2 of my girls.

@SweetartMD:  I actually prefer them a little more subdued so I am excited about them in the brown with the sash, bouquet and flower in the hair. I can't wait to see how yours turns out, colors twin!

@louisianablue:  Yes definitely off the rack. I am now holding breath for my other girls to order theirs before it sells out. LOL

@proud: maybe you should post that in the classified section instead of hijaking someone's thread with something that had nothing to do with what they were posting about. #endrant.

    @KarenA

My aplogies. It wasn't my intent to jijack anyone's thread :(

i just thought if people were having a hard time finding the right color dresses they could maybe incorporate the color with a sash and a custom hanger. I know first hand how difficult making your vision a reality can be. Brides so often fall in love with a color only to later discover their options are more limited than they anticipated. I'm sorry if I offended you. I'm trying to promote a new small business not step on anyone's toes. Congratulations to all in the thread. I think you have an amazing wedding color scheme planned.
