If what you’re looking for is the same amount of finger coverage and/or “presence,” you’re going just have to go try on rings/stones!  🙂  Her finger might be a totally different size than yours, which would throw things off.

I would say about 1 to 1.5 carats.

You need to keep in mind though of your ring size finger length. That all plays into what ring style and carat you will be able to wear. I wanted a halo so badly a Tacori to be exact wanted one a very long time.Longstory short went to try one on and it looked terrible i have very short fingers so big rings look very how do i put this STUPID!!!! the ring was beautiful but it took up my whole finger no room for wedding Band it was very uncomfortable to where to say the least !!! My advice goto jewelry stores try try try !!! Different styles, carats, and try them on with a wedding ring this way you know it will comfortable to where evryday !!! Congrats and have fun …the ring you like is beautiful just wanted to say that just wanna make sure i told you not saying you shouldn’t get that ring if its your dream just try before you buy !!!!

Yes, I agree that you need to go look. Finger size makes a huge difference. What looks large on a size 4 won’t look large on a size 9. Also, while you like styles browsing online, you might try it on and hate it in real life. Go play at a jewelry store! It can be fun! Just go in and tell them you are just looking to see what styles you like. Don’t feel pressured into buying anything.

Im going to guess and say she has the average size 6.5 finger..in that case I think it looks between 1-1.25 carat. But if you have larger or smaller fingers than her it wont look exactly the same. You really should go in a jewelry store to try on some rings to see what size diamond you like on you.

cooperhook:  not a problem i remember when my husband and I were buying my upgrade. The stores at the mall were very scary like you said they were pushy as well. What we did was call made a appointment to ring shop told them what styles we had in mind and they understood set time aside for us to look try on many rings. Its not always that they are pushy sometimes its just they work on commission (floor sales people at least ) so they want to sell and go about helping other customers. If you call then the manager will work with you most of the time and give the time you need explain budget,4Cs,warranties,service, etc. This took the scare away from us. So dont feel alone in that your scared to walk into a store I know we were !!!

.75-1.0. I’m guessing a size 5.5-6 finger
