There are times when you don't realize how blessed and how lucky you are. Today I received the greatest gift ever in the mail from a very very very dear friend. I am so surprised and lucky to get exactly what I wanted in a ring and a proposal. Tonight I didn't pop the question he did. And my very dear friend frequents weddingbee, so she knows to expect a very special gift and perhaps a surprise or two :P
Tonight my M (with the help of our 8 year olds) got down on one knee and asked me to marry him with the most gorgeous aqua ever!!!

Turn the flash off (move to a place with good lighting) and use the Macor mode in ypur camera (it usually has a flower symbol)... I can´t find the tutorial but that´s the basic
Oh, and get and interesting background... take it off your finger!!
AHHHHHHHHHH! Crebre!!! I'm so freakin excited I'm about to hop in my car and drive a thousand hours to LA to see your gorgeous ring! But um.... that's a long trip so maybe take another pic? hehe. Put it in a SUPER well lit area, on top of something patterned, turn off your flash, and set your camera to macro. Have M hold a flashlight on it while its on something if you need to, it will turn out great. yay!!

Wait until tomorrow, and then put the ring in the light, with your camera on macro setting with the flash turned off. I used a really old digital camera...only 6 megapixels...and this is what I was able to do: http://www.weddingbee.com/2010/01/07/miss-buttons-bling/
