I’m so excited, guest books seem boring to me, like I read them once and that’s it. Than what do you do with it, so FI and I decided to upload pictures on shutterfly and make a calender starting the month of our wedding. We put pictures of us doing different things from throughout the year, but left plenty of room around the pictures for people to sign or write a little note. We’ll be able to enjoy our guests comments all year long!
Just thought i’d throw the idea out there. I’m waiting for it to come in the mail so i’ll let you know how it turned out!

That’s such a good idea! I’ve done calendars through them before, and I was happy with their quality, so I bet it’ll be fine.

Very cute! We’re doing adirondack chairs and matching footrests. Everyone will sign those with permanent markers then we’ll shellack them and put them in our garden!

Those are really cute ideas!! I love scrapbooking. So, we’re doing little notecards for each person for them to write scripture or advice or something funny on it for us later. I even bought a big glass cookie jar for the colorful notes to go in.

that’s such a cool idea! I really like it!We bought an ABC pop up book from Target (it sounds weird, but it is very cool) and asked people to write words of advice pertaining to the letter(s) on that page. People got really creative! We have it out and people look at it when they come over.

We are having a outdoor reception and I have little quilt squares that people can use fabric pens on to write messages. My mother is going to sew them into a quilt we can display when we are done.

We are doing a cedar chest lid that everyone will sign. After the wedding, the cedar chest will hold our keepsakes from the wedding, and eventually our lives.

We had our guests sign stone-like tiles and plan to inlay them on top of a table for our wine cellar/room.

We are doing a frame that has a metal mat that your guest can inscribe their names into! I saw it at a bridal show and it is beautiful and really elegant something you would want to have in your house and way more subtle than a black marker on a white mat!
