I am ordering those photo books to use as my guest book kinda like a year book of me and my fiance and my question is how many pages do you think we need, we're haveing 124 guests.

also i'm trying to decide what pics to put in. like in the beginning should i have baby pics of us. or just pics of us as a couple

    thanks for your help........:)

consider how many parties you're inviting, since a lot of couples will sign together, not just how many guests, then divide that by how many (average sized) signatures can fit on a page (front and back, or separately, depending on how you count pages). You'll need to consider whether the style of guest book you're choosing will be one to encourage notes, or just names.

    so again, that's:

number of guest parties attending ÷ number of signatures per page = number of pages needed.

I have been thinking about doing a blurb guestbook and here is what I'm thinking:

I'm definitely going to encourage words of wisdom, advice, memories, etc. I don't just want signatures, so I will have the guest book at the reception to give guests more time to sign. I think i'm going to use photoshop to create my pages and add boxes and areas with decorative things like { } indicating where people should write. The idea is that I want each couple to use an entire box. If there are leftover spaces, I will go back after the wedding and fill the empty spaces with love quotes or song lyrics or whatever, so the book will be full. I'm thinking of having 2-3 boxes per page on a square 7"x7" book, so front and back each page would have 5-6 spaces.

So with that idea, I think 12 pages (front and back) would be enough for you.

I think I'm going to stick with just pictures of the two of us together, but if you want to do baby pics then go for it! Mine will be used as a coffee table type book in the future, so do whatever you think you will enjoy looking at in the future.

Our book had 20 pages and it was more than enough. We had several pages where no one had signed at all.
