Both theknot.com and martha stewart have great guest list applications!
Hope this is what you are looking for!
I made mine in Word. But then transferred it to the one on the knot.
Honestly, I find a good exel spread sheet to be working the best for me!
Here's a warning for you- We started the guest list on martha stewart weddings and exported the data to exel (thank God) because when I tried to get the info off of my account several months later it had all disappeared!
So from now on I am using my trusty exel spread sheet. I got ideas for the categories off of all the regular sites.
I've been using weddingmapper.com for my guestlist so far. they also import/export from/to excel (or Numbers)
i did mine on the knot and really like it. you code people based on whose guests they are so you can keep track that way. then you check off things like what they're invited to, when they rsvp, you can do seating charts, and then you can export it into excel. ive found it to be really helpful and organizes it all for you!
i love excel. and if you don't have it on your computer, google documents (docs.google.com) has a spreadsheet that works exactly like excel that you can use as long as you have an internet connection. and, you and your fi and family and whoever else can all share and edit it from different computers all at the same time. i use google docs ALL the time for organizing work and personal stuff.
i am using martha's site. you can input each guest by the party they are in and select which guest is invited to which events. then you can pull reports to give one to whomever is hosting the shower, or bachelorette party! it's super great. you can even then use the lists from here to create your seating charts (which i'm not doing) but nice to be able to do!
I did excel. I found it easy to break everyone into categories. So we had Friends, My Family, His Family, Friends from new church, friends from old church, neighobors, his work friends, my work friends. It worked out really well.
@daydreamwanderer - thanks for the help on the weddingmapper. this is a fantastic websit to use.
