Oy vey bees…I’m trying to finalize my guest list, but boy, is this task EVER imposing!! All the different people from different groups, the different opinions of what I should do…*sigh*
We are waaaaay over the number we need to be at, so cuts have to be made. Now, we have been attempting to classify people according to A/B guest lists to alleviate the problem. My mom thinks that’s a bad idea, and that people in the same circles may find out they got B-listed and be upset, but I don’t think that will happen. I think there’s enough space between and even within the groups of people to avoid that problem.
Anyways, I am still going with the A/B option. My questions are:
1. Anyone who had done it this way, have you encountered any problems with it? Hurt feelings, etc.?
2. How do you do RSVPs? Do you send out the A-list, make an RSVP date, then once that date passes, see what has happened and send out any B-list invitations according to spots open? Wouldn’t that give less time for the A-list people to respond? (Am I even making sense? lol)
Just looking for some feedback for this way of doing my list. Thanks Bees!
