i'm planning on using google docs' spreadsheet function... so i can access it from anywhere.
Google docs is great if you need access to it anywhere, and also if you need to share it with someone else. I used Excel, in addition to our wedding website with had .csv export functionality.
The Google docs sounds like that is what I want. I like that I can share it with others. Is it easy to navigate?
google docs is great. i think you have to have a gmail mailing account to use and access it though (which is all free). it works just like excel..but with the added feature that you can share it and more than one person can access and change things (Though you can have people has view only, and not be able to change things). fyi though, i would totally be using google docs myself, but we had to stick with excel because his company blocks google docs~! i have no idea why..but it's something to keep in mind i guess. so we just have to email our excel sheet back and forth to each other. :P
I just tried out Google Docs after seeing so many people were using it and I <3 it already. I just uploaded the Excel spreadsheet I was using now I can share access and dont have to e-mail back and forth anymore. You do not need to have Gmail to use it either. I dont have a Gmail email address and was able to set up an account with my current e-mail address, not that setting up a Gmail account would be a bad thing anyway :)
I have been using the guest list organizer on theknot.com. I like it very much. One thing to remember is to check every address for validity before putting it on your list. You can check addresses at www.usps.gov. This will prevent your invitations from being returned to sender.
I'm using Elm Software's iDo program. It's been amazing so far and has been worth the low price. I can sort by many different factors, and it will convert it into an easily readable file for printing or sending to family members.

Hey ladies~ I am looking for suggestions and ideas on organizing my guest list. Right now the names and addresses are all on seperate pages from both sides of our familes plus our personal list. Now all I need to do is combine them on one form. What programs are you using?
