My Fiance’s uncle is officiating our wedding. The church we’re having our wedding at was surprisingly welcome to let us have the ceremony there and letting another person officiate. We haven’t worked out the details yet but the pastor of the church mentioned that he will have a Deacon perform an opening to the ceremony.
My question is, who gets invited to the rehearsal dinner. Obviously my fiance’s uncle who will be performing the ceremony. Do we invite the Deacon that will be performing the opening? And what about the pastor of the church that we’re performing a wedding in his “house.”
Also, should I invite the pastor of the church as a guest to the ceremony? Reception?
They’ve been very good to us and in fact, have given us no rules/stipulations to being in their church. No “rules” so to speak.
