I wo uld probably use sharpies or something, to be sure that it adheres to the paper.  But I have no idea, because I’ve never tried writing on a photobook page!

Apparently just ballpoint pens!

I would do extra fine tip sharpies! We made our book through shutterfly also.

@JessSeny:  I think acid-free products aren’t supposed to fade.  I’m not sure if the Sharpies fall under this category, but they are described as “fade and water resistant”.

@JessSeny:  Did you get the lay flat option with the premium paper? I got that option at shutterfly for my wedding as well. While shutterfly suggest either ballpoint pen or Sharpies Pen specifically I didn’t like either. The ballpoint pen leaves imprints and does work if that’s what u want. I used the ultra fin sharpies. It dries super fast bc it’s ultra thin and doesn’t smudge.

I actually made a second book with my engagement pictures and tested a lot of different pens on that book. You can do that if u like. If you got their regular paper, ballpoint pen works as well
