guestlist question

posted 4 months ago in Beehive

I have a group of friends from high school.  We all get together once a year at the holidays, but I'm not close to everyone anymore (i.e There are some people who I only see at this one holiday party each year).  Should I invite just the people I talk to regularly or just invite the whole group to the wedding?

It depends on a lot of things but mainly your budget and your space. I don't think any of us can give you a blanket "yes" or "no" answer. If you have room and the money and you want them there, go for it. If not to any of those criteria, then don't!

If space and/or budget are limited, I think it's fine to just invite those people you feel close too, and not necessarily everyone in the group. You can also have an A and B list, and can invite people on the B list after you get a certain amount of "no" RSVPs from the A list.
