I sent out my save the dates on January 5 and there are people who still have not received them almost two weeks later. We sent out 65 save the dates and while I’ve heard of people getting them, I’ve heard from at least 4 people that they didn’t get them yet. It was just a paper-bag style paper-source envelope with a navy label and white type.
Did anyone have a people with their invites not arriving or arriving late? I’m not sure what to do to make sure this doesn’t happen with the invitations. I’m stressed enough without worrying if someone got the invite or not.

@EagerBeever: Was the postage correct? Maybe you could send around your wedding website via email to make sure those that didn’t get them know to STD!

I’m pretty sure the postage was right, it was just an A7 envelope… its just so frustrating to not know who got them or not. We have started to hand deliver them to the people who haven’t gotten them yet.
But its good to know we aren’t the only one who this has happened to before. I guess that is to be expected when you are mailing a large number of letters than a certain percentage won’t be delivered.

We also had several that never made it to their destination. Not sure what happened. We did postcards so I am not sure if they got lost or what happened.

Yep, we had about 12 STD postcards not make it to their recipients. Once we heard that some people hadn’t gotten theirs, my parents, FI, and I emailed/called everyone who we hadn’t heard from to make sure.
I had taken the postcard to the post office to make sure the postage was correct and it would go through the machines OK, and I was SO MAD some didn’t make it. I called the post office and they said there was nothing I could do.
Good thing we went through Vista Print and still had 50 leftover postcards!
