I don't know if you'll be able to do better than that unless you buy them and resell them! The thing is, there are some cheaper ones online but shipping ups the cost of them. I would see what other people can quote you for the extra ones that are more expensive--maybe online only for those would be cheaper. And where the chair sashes are concerned, I've found ones cheaper online so maybe you could buy those and resell them to offset the cost. Good luck!
Honestly, that's about the cost of them. I haven't been able to find anything cheaper than that. i wanted them too but I don't want to spend that much money on something people will just be sitting on. Though granted they can definatley set the mood in the room. I opted to go with wooden chairs that actually look really good for the "theme" I'm going for. Now I did see some vendors where I live that actually include the chair covers with the price of the venue. If you haven't already picked out your location and put down your deposit,maybe you can look into something like that?
I too am looking to either split cost of 250 chair covers and sashes or have a definate buyer for them after my June 19th wedding. What color chair covers are you looking for and what type of style (banquet or folding chair). You can email me if you want ooillmaoo at gmail dot com
You may check cateringsupplies.com. They are "disposable" but will send you a swatch of the material that they are made of for free.
I'd check online & see if you can buy them used from another bride then maybe you can sell them too.
That is a great price though - ours were quoted at $5. per chair cover and $2 per sash, so that's $7 a chair x's 230?!? We gave up & we'll stick with the white garden chairs our venue has.
I have to pay 3€ for each, so I think that's a normal price. In the end it's so much money for nothing - but I NEED to have them...

I have a lady in my town who has 150 for rent for 2.75. She will order the extra 100 I need for 3.50. It's a grand total of 775, then add in the 250 sashes I want for .50 each and it's closing on on a grand.
I just don't know what to do! Is anyone else looking for these that can help me out?
