I’m not sure if any of you have read this already but I thought it was worth sharing. It just goes to show you that miscarriages happen even to the best of us. I think it’s great that she is so open about her loss. Maybe if more people were open about pregnancy loss there would be less of a stigma attached to it.

A refreshing read…thanks for the link!

I never appreciated the stress and pain couples go through when there are fertility issues. The whole TTC journey, and paying more attention to family, friends and celebrities who are going through the same thing has made me a much more compasionate person.

Thanks for sharing this. I’ve never particularly been a fan of hers (she’s kind of “eh” to me) but the way she describes her miscarriage and what she went through makes me connect with her on a motherly level. We share the fact that we were already mothers before our MC in common and you absolutely feel a missing link to your family once you’ve gone through one. She seems like a regular, down to earth, nice woman to me.

Great article. Given how common miscarriages are, though, it never occurred to me that there would be a stigma attached. Never felt that way, myself.

Thanks for sharing. I totally agree about the stigma attached to miscarriages (and also infertility).
