So I'm opening my gift and even with the wrapping paper half way off Im still not sure what the gift is. Then I get the rest of it off and see on the top of the box that it's a Gypsy!!! I've seen the gypsy at AC Moore and Michaels but wasn't sure what it did yet, but I knew it was for scrapbooking! I thanked my fiance and hugged him and thought it was the most thoughtful gift and then I started to tear up and cry. I just couldnt get over how sweet it was for him to get it for me, he thought of me and how much I love scrapbooking and I never even mentioned the gypsy to him!! But now that I know what it does I love it!! It holds all your cartridges so you wont have to change them on the cricut or use the pads and you can upload any of your friends cartridges on there and print to the cricut from the gypsy!!

... okay so how exactly does it work? I got the cricut for Christmas! Does it let you layout whole pages or... ??? I keep seeing it at Michael's but the video confuses me.

Hey KM...yeah you can use the Gypsy instead of changing the cartridges all the time and it has a touch screen that lets you move things around and stuff. You look at it as if it was the mat that you put in the cricut...it even has a load and unload button for the cricut mat when you connect them. Its just an easier way and you can link your friends cartridges and keep them in the gypsy so you wont have to buy those ones...and it comes with two cartridges in it already. I just got it and wasnt sure myself and im still learning...but it lets you fuse two patterns together...and other stuff its pretty neat! It was a very unexpected gift!

So if I wanted to make a stencil for a wall poem or something I could just make it on there and it would let me layout everything?

They say it's sort of like an IPOD for the Cricut, it's like a portable way to make your designs when you aren't around your cricut.

My F did this same thing for me with the Cricut. I mentioned once, ages ago, that I thought it would be cool/fun/amazing to have a Cricut. He remembered and was so happy and proud to have gotten it for me. So cute :D

@Bright thats so sweet...dont our guys do the sweetest things sometimes! I told my future stepdaughters that they should find someone as wonderful as their daddy! :)

@Diva...lol! Ive only just gotten into this stuff...so maybe down the line Ill be there too! Because a few yrs ago when I first started to scrapbook I could have never saw myself with a cricut and a gypsy!!

@Cinema if your sister has a cricut and a lot of cartridges and loves to scrapbook the gypsy would be great for her...and she would be excited that her awesome sister got it for her!!
