It'll all depend on how many other projects she's working on at the same time, how much time she's devoting to it, and how elaborate the design is (i know some pnina's can be very elaborate). It will probably be a while before you can see a "dress". But i'm sure you'll be involved in the process and see the progress bc she's going to need to fit you at least twice in muslin first (i'm just assuming; that's how I'd do it). Good luck! Thats exciting! :) Pnina has some gorgeous dresses!

I have (finally) gone with a local dress maker to make my dress, my daughters flower girl dress, and my fiance's tailored suit. My dress is based on well known pnina dress but I am going with burgundy.
What I want to know is how long until the dress will start looking like a dress? when can I see progress? Will she let me see it as she is working on it or will i have to wait. She has told me that she will get the satin next week so she will begin working but she is having to talk to a friend to find the right piece of lace for the bottom of the dress.
I can't wait to see the dress!!!! From what she is telling me it won't be ready until not long before the wedding though.
