Great job knowing your puppy that well! I'm glad she is feeling better now!
She's so cute! I'm glad you figured out what was wrong and she's being treated. :)
I'm glad you stood your ground, and I'm sure Eva is too!

My corgi puppy Eva has been acting odd recently - she had periods when she wouldn't pee, and then would pee involuntarily, including one time when she was sitting on my lap, covering both me and the couch in pee.
However, when I went to pick up Eva at our friend's house, she peed frantically when she greeted me, then peed again before we got in the car! Something was obviously wrong, and so I called my hubby and asked him to make an appointment at the vet to get Eva checked for a UTI, which he did, though he whined all the way that I was being overprotective and ridiculous. But I take her in anyway and the vet agrees that the behavior is off, but Eva isn't showing any normal signs of UTI, though they run the Urinalysis anyway. Later this afternoon, they call me and, whadya know - it's a UTI!! We go back to the vet, they give her a shot, and that's it. She's already perking up and behaving more normally
I feel so vindicated that I insisted something was wrong! Even my hubby apologized for doubting me :-)
