@SouthernBee33:  I hear there are tricks to get a sealed evelope open. Like putting it into the freezer. Meltdowns happen to the best of us.

That sounds like something I would do. I am glad you could unseal most of them though, that was fortunate!

I do not look forward to when I actively start planning and I have those moments!

That sounds SO frustrating! Glad you got them back open, though!

FYI: go to the USPS website, you can order your favorite stamps online and they will be delivered to your home.

i went to get stamps for my STDs the other day and all they had was the flag Liberty, Justice, Equality and the purple heart one.  Neither are happy or weddingy. i just ordered online so Im hoping for a quick turnaround.  I was told the physical post offices werent getting more specialty stamps until after the price increase.

@SouthernBee33:  Oh no! Glad you sorted out your problem. We didn’t send rsvps cards at all, let alone with stamps. It’s not really a thing here. Everyone is allowed a meltdown or 2. If this is the worst that happens you’ll be fine!

@SouthernBee33:  I had a little bit of a meltdown over stamps. The cost of the permanent stamps are increasing pretty significantly in March, and I was constantly told by people not to worry about getting them when we first heard (during the Christmas season), because “they’ll still have stamps in the New Year”. I somewhat had to listen because Costco sells them in a roll for a cheaper price and since I didn’t have a Costco membership, I was at the mercy of others, and NO ONE wanted to go to Costco during Christmas

Well sure enough, didn’t they all get sold out? I went EVERYWHERE trying to look for them on the Dec. 28th. What made me more upset is that all of this could have been avoided.

Glad you were able to solve your problem!!

@SouthernBee33:  I very nearly did the same thing! Instead, I ended up getting overzeaous and put US postage on RSVP envelopes that would be returning from out of the country Yell

@SouthernBee33:  Hugs!  I know how stressful the little things can be.  Just think, you now have the meltdown out of the way 😉

@SouthernBee33:  All our RSVPs came in through the post. We just make  people buy their own cards and stamps!
