I think the makeup is just right. That being said, if you added some false eyelashes (I really like the ones that are half a strip and just kind of flare up the ends) I don’t think that would hurt. 🙂

Looks good, add false lashes for more pop.  And it will look even better in photos.

I like the contrast of eyeliner that makes your eyes *pop* but are you sure you want to look back and see that heavy eyeliner in your wedding photos?

I have to be honest and say I dont like it. Mainly because the make up on the left eye doesnt match the right eye and it will be even more noticeable in professional pictures unless they edit every shot. I think if you want to do such a bright color combo then both eyes need to be identical.

I personally would go for something in bronze or brown tones, the blue is just a bit too prom for me

I think it looks beautiful, but that there’s too much eyeliner underneath. If that were thinner I think it’d be perfect.

I think the make up looks really cool, but are you sure it’s the look you want on your wedding day?  I think the liner on the bottom is a bit too thick… maybe try with just color on the eye lid?  I also second the comments on the fake lashes 🙂

I love color and I like people who take risks with makeup but I wouldn’t call this neutral or natural bridal. Usually that would be colors like taupes or browns…Colors in the Urban Decay naked palette. The amount I think is right but false lashes make things even better!

I totally LOOOVE the color, especially the eyes closed shot.  But at the same time I’m thinking maybe the color liner on the bottom is a bit much for the wedding day? Maybe use the color shadow on top with brown or black (or dark blue) liner?

Whats your dress look like? I think your accessories and all could change up the way it looks.  The color is lovely and fun though!

I say, if you want to be bold, be bold! The only quibble I’d have is with the shade the eyebrows have been filled in with. There’s something about it that seems a little off, too much sienna. I actually wasn’t thrilled with the fill in colors of my own brows during my trial either. Maybe I have some sort of brow issue. 🙂

woah! eyeshadow! Way too much. Maybe for clubbing, if you’re attending 80’s night.

It’s really the below the eye and the number of colors used that makes it so much.

    What about something like this:

I love that you want opinions but if you like it go for it! I don’t think many bee’s are going to like the idea of such bold makeup on your wedding day.

I think the colors are fun and different than the typical bride. Your eye color really pops with these tones too. However, I do feel like the liner at the bottom can be passed on and softer blue can be used all around. Maybe just a shimmer along the bottom? Also, false eyelashes could make a total difference!

Blue eyeshadow was a big hit back then but obviously has come back. Not everyone is bold enough to try it or everyone can pull it off, so I admire you for that. Of course years from now it will look dated, and so will many other things we as brides are choosing for our weddings these days.

@MrsElopement:  I think she said she doesn’t want neutrals.

I actually lie it. I’m not a fan of bright makeup on myself but i always admire who are brave enough to wear it! what is your wedding going to be like as far as theme or atmoshpere?

To be honest I think blue eyeshadow is kind of polarizing, because it used to be so overdone, and I know it’s made a comeback but IMO it still carries an association with the 80’s. While it’s popular now, 10 years from now it may look really dated just how the 80’s version looks now.

If you were originally going to go with pink, so you don’t mind softer colors, what about a lilac or lavender? It would go great with your skin tone and bring out the green in your eyes.
