We recently remodeled 3 rooms in our house. For over a year I have lived with drywall dust and assorted tools every where. Finally my life has some semblance of order. So we had the ‘talk.’ Now he has to clean. Occasionally sweep. Vacuum. And spot clean our new floors. He sighed, and told me understood. The next day he texted me and said he had a solution to our problem (ask our son? Pay a maid? Make a cleaning chart? Or him actually do it?) He brought home a roomba. Lol as much as I love it, I think he really didn’t understand the reason for our talk. Men. Hurumph.

That made me smile. It’s cute that he was thinking at least!
I had to have the talk with my husband last week too. When we first moved in together, I didn’t work as many hours as I do now so it was a lot easier for me to keep up with the housework. He said he would help, and he did… for like a day. If you have any tips that you find are working please share them! 🙂

My FH hates our dishwasher, I hate dishes. If he won’t let me use the dishwasher, then guess who gets to do the dishes – he complains about it all the time.
