@CurlyQ: I actually went with a stylist I found on craigslist & she was wonderful!! The trial (hair & make up) as well as the day of wedding was SO affordable! MUCH less then any others.
April was friendly, professional, and did a great job! I went for a relaxed 1940s curl and although she hadn't specifically done that hairstyle before, at the trial I knew she was talented because it looked great! I absolutely LOVED my hair & make up the day of the wedding!! I wanted that vintage but modern 1940s look & just loved her work!

Just regular foundation, it wasn't cakey and looked very smooth & natural :)
I go for my trial run tomorrow!

I just made my makeup appointment for the day of my wedding (and a trial one for next weekend). I went with Keep Austin Gorgeous and I am doing airbrushed makeup- I don't wear much makeup but I want to look the absolute best I can on 2/20/10. I'm hoping it goes well. I felt very comfy there yesterday and everyone was super nice. So just a fyi-also they are having an event there coming up-a cupcake event...just sayin...check em out...

I went back to April for a 2nd trial run on my out of control hair...she totally nailed it! I signed a contract after the first one 'cause I loved the make up. Thanks so much for the refer!! =)

Hey Ladies! I thought about finding an artist on craigslist, but I figured, that I will have plenty of time to go to a salon on the day of my wedding, SO, are there any salons/artists that you would recommend in Austin?
