OMG there's no question at all, UP!! It looks so beautiful and you look gorgeous with it up (really, you look gorgeous either way but I like it up, more)! And don't fret, you don't look older, it just is a completely different look! I love how the updo shows off your neck and shoulders and the double strand of pearls looks lovely, more on display. In the end, though, it's really what you feel more comfortable with.
First of all you are super beautiful. Between the 2 styles I think it looks better but but honestly I like you in hte first pic where you hair is all down and framing your face.
I like it half up half down probably because I have short hair so I am super jealous of yours!
Normally I prefer hair down or half down, but MY GOD, your hair looks so beautiful in the all up style! I really think it suits you the best. It is stunning!
thanks for all the lovely comments girls, you're so nice :)
I'm leaning towards all up......on i'm so indecisive!
How about both....
You could wear it all up for the ceremony and have her style it in way that you could take the pins out and wear it half up/half down for the reception. The best of both worlds.
@Ill Be Mrs B: I thought about that, and I would love to be able to. But I tried taking it when I got home, and because it had been pinned up, the curls were really messy and didn't look nearly as good as they did before they had been pinned up. It would have been perfect though!
You look beautiful with either hairstyle, though I lean towards the half-style. But I guess it depends on what type of wedding you're having. If you want a more formal look, I'd say go for the updo. If your wedding is a bit more causal, I'd definitely say you should do the half-up. Either way, you'll look amazing!
The makeup is gorgeous and both hairstyles are super pretty, but I think I prefer the updo over the half up half down. I think it fits your face nicely, and it's very elegant and timeless! amazing pics though! whichever you choose will be great because they both are really pretty on you! :)
love the makeup! and i agree with most of the posters-all up is stunning. It does not make you look old, it just looks more elegant. And, imo, sometimes (often) half-up half-down styles look like prom hairdos. just my opinion.
The half up do makes you look gorgeous and sweet, the all up makes you look more polished and sophisticated (and gorgeous too lol), so wichever of those descriptions matches your personality, you should do that :)
I like the half up the best, but I think either way you go you will look great.
I like half-up, half-down best...I LOVE the ringlets! Wish I could do mine like that, but it's too short and fine.
I kind of like it all down! But I like it half-up, too, especially from the back. You can't go wrong no matter what you do...you're beautiful!
100% for all up... i'm not an updo girl, but yours makes me want to see if maybe i am!
thanks for all of the replies bees, and the nice comments. I think my fiancee will really love it if I wear it all up, and I want to make him super-happy on the day :)
all up definitely you look so glamorous and the half up looks more like prom hair. Plus the length is obvious in this style because short hair would never look that full. You look amazing!!!
I think the all-updo makes you look older than the half, so I voted for the half.
I like the half-up best on you, but I may be partial since that's how I wore my hair & I loved it!!!
You can't lose with which ever style you choose as you look beautiful either way. But my 1st choice is up followed by 1/2 up for my 2nd. Maybe you can do the all up for the wedding and then do the 1/2 up for the reception
First off, I love your eye make-up! You look beautiful with both hairstyles but my favorite is the all-up. Stunning!
@meant2B: @LissaBabyxo: Thank you for your kind words :)
Since posting these pics I've actually decided that I'm going to have a 2nd hair trial as I don't really feel like "me" with my hair in the photos, although I think she did a great job.
I've decided to have it down and curly with just the front bits off of my face like this:
Whenever I go out for a special night I ALWAYS wear my hair out, so for me, wearing it up, although I think it looks nice, doesn't feel as special and I feel like it makes me look older than I want to look at the wedding, if that makes sense?
I don't know if this would work, but i had mine down during the ceremony and then had it fixed up for the reception? I love the two looks!
I loved that you reposted a new pic with some hair down, I was in the minority when looking through this that you should do the 1/2 up do.
thank you, that's sweet. glad at least someone else agrees with me!! :)

Hi bees,
I had my hair and makeup trial this weekend. I LOVE my makeup so that's nice and easy (although I'm going to go for a slightly less pink lip on the day) but I'm struggling to decide on the hairstyle. Its between either half up half down, or all up. Please note that if I go with the half up half down style, my hair will be behind my shoulders, not in front (unfortunately don't have a photo of this).
The problem is that I've spent so long growing my hair that I feel like if I wear it all up it is a waste, but on the other hand it's more elegant. But I'm only 24 so I'm worried that it might make me look a lot older than I am ahhhhh
please take a look at the photos and vote, as well as let me know what you think!
please ignore the mess, the hair trial was in my hairdresser's garage!
Thanks :)
