You are gorgeous! I'm not crazy about the pieces hanging down in the front, but everything else looks great!
@BoiledPNut: Really? I love the pieces hanging down in the front! I think they look so soft and feminine.
I hate the pieces down in front...I spend all day long brushing those bad boys back!!! lol! The back is STUNNING!!!! & your face is so so pretty...the makeup is perfect in my opinion!
@BoiledPNut: haha that's what FI said about the strands!! What if I got layers put into the hair that frames my face and then they strands won't hang so long. I am worried that my face will look too harsh without some kind of hair framing it...
This is the look we were going for:

I love the strands hanging down, I personally think my face looks to severe without something framing it so I totally understand wanting it. And you look gorgeous!
I think your hair in the above pics looks better then taylors does...but I would shorten the front strands or ditch them....just have the girl cut them the way you want them on the day of... =)
@misspeanut: "severe" is the exact word my stylist used yesterday when we discussed NOT having the strands :)
But I think there is something off about the way the strands look in these pictures. Maybe if they were thicker and shorter?
@kelly105: that was my inspiration too! I had the strands and I loved it, my hair was a bit shorter than yours though. I think they look great but layering them wouldnt be bad either.
I think that the pieces in the front look off. Taylor's works because all of her hair is curly, not just those pieces and they are thicker, shorter pieces.
You are stunning. I like that you have makeup on but you can barely tell. I love that look. I can't stand the thick eyeliner and LOTS of eye showow look. I have the sale shape profile as you. I like the strands but I think maybe you need to not have the back to tightly pulled back for the front strands to be down. Did I explain that correctly?
I agree that shorter. thicker strands may look better. Or you could do a side bang if that's something you would be willing to try out. I like the back!
it looks too lose. like its about to fall, and the sides looks like she rushed doing ur hair. i mean it pretty, but i guess i like everything uniform.
LOVE your hair but the pieces hanging down are out dated. If you would put the pieces up with the rest of your hair it would look great. I love your makeup too!
I think if you had shorter strands it would look more natural...and I would suggest more blush..in the pictures it seemed like you were kind of washed out
I love the back! And I agree with others about the strands hanging in the front - they could be a little shorter and less wispy. Right now it looks like tendrils hanging down which is very outdated. But cutting some long bangs / layers would do the trick. If you notice Taylor's hair, the one piece is an extension of her long side bangs which I think looks really nice. ALso, if you want your hair more like the pic, your stylist would need to curl pieces (loosely) before they are tucked into back. But I think the straighter look works for you too. Its just different than the pic.
As for your makeup, I can't see your eyes close up, so its hard to really tell - but overall look is nice. It does looks like you have a ton of white powder sitting on your cheeks and nose area in the pics. Just make sure that gets blended more on the big day.
@kelly105: Well, Natalie Portman... ;) I love the hair, but I think the pieces need to look like they accidently fell. A few shorter layers around your face would be beautiful!
Love the tendrils, very romantic. I would love them even more if they were a bit shorter - so it looks like they accidently fell out.
I have a love affair with make-up, even though I don't usually wear a ton. IMO (and take it or leave it) your foundation needs to be more matte on your nose and forehead. I think you need more eyeliner on the top outside corners and you need some more eyeshadow. I know someone else said more blush. I wouldn't but if you do more, I'd only do the tinest bit more. And I think it's a good shade on you. I had my make-up done for my cousin's wedding and the too-much-blush would be the one thing I'd change.
The back looks very nice! I agree with shortening the pieces that hang down in front. Right now they are too long plus your hair looks very fine and like that curl would fall out throughout the wedding, making them even longer!
You are so beautiful, your make-up looks great. If you want to pieces hanging down, then you'll have to go with a layered cut. You will also have to put some product in so they are a bit thicker and curl and hold together.
Thank you for the comments! Very constructive! My stylist told me that I should cut layers to frame my face so that the whisps will be shorter, thicker, and more "accidental" looking. I agree that those long whisps look outdated and stringy.
Thank you for the comments on the makeup. It was airbrushed. I told the girl that I wanted to look natural but "flawless." I think she said that the eyeshadow was called "Mac Lunch" by MAC. When she first put it on I thought that it was kinda blah... You could barely tell that I had makeup on my lids. I felt that maybe I needed some darker colors in the corner of my eyes. She is going to put in some individual false lashes on the day of my wedding. I'm hoping that will do the trick.
And I think the flash on the camera is what is making me look so pale!
Some of you mentioned that my hair looked too loose or "not-uniform"... but that is not a mistake by the stylist. This is actually the look I was going for. And I definitely don't want my hair completely pulled back or "tight" looking because I feel that my face will look too harsh.
Again, thank you for all of the comments!
I agree on the loose pieces in the front.
And I think the back looks sloppy. There is a difference between loose and casual and not well done. Perhaps day of, she can tweak it a bit.
I think you look stunning. I love the back of your hair and I dont think it looks sloppy at all. I do agree with the front strands maybe being a tad bit shorter. I was in two weddings and had my hair styled the exact same way each time.... For one wedding the strands were as long as yours and the other a little shorter and I think it looked better shorter. I also do agree that you should put pieces of lashes on.. they make such a huge difference.
Be careful of the loose powder the makeup artist may use. You can see it a bit in your photos, which would for sure show up in wedding photos.
Pretty!! I agree with others that the loose pieces in the front could be a little thicker/shorter. But otherwise I love the look on you. I'm planning to do something similar to this, but more structured and "severe" lol. But I think the soft, romantic look is perfect for you. In faaaact...I am totally going for the knot-look in the back of my hair just like yours. Would you be creeped out if I pinterest that pic of the back of your hair?
