i am on the fence about wearing my hair half up or in a loose up do for our Pennsylvania (humid), country club, black tie optional, August nuptials.
I wear my hair down and curled every day (and FI likes my hair down) but I am concerned it will get stringy by the end of the reception and not keep the look I’d like it to. It stays fairly curled if I touch up hairspray throughout the day pretty well…
I am pretty sure I’d like to wear a flower as my hair accessory and I will also have a cathedral length veil for the ceremony. I like the look off these two accessories together!
Which hair style and accessory do you prefer with my dress? I feel like a crazy obsessed lady over this and would love your thoughts!
My dress (on models. My dress coming in next week! Woo hoo!): lazaro 3108 in sherbet
A little about me:
I wear a size 12 and am 5’11” and have thickish long auburn hair. (Sharing these details to paint a full picture for you lovely bees!)
Loose Up Do
Half up do
Which do you like better? Or if there are other styles or accessories you think would be best will you please share?
Thank you so much in advance for your time!

I like the loose updo, its more romantic and fits the dress well. I also think it will really help during the hot August weather.

I really love the look of that updo with the dress and veil. Since the dress is dramatic and the cathedral veil is of course all drama, I feel like the updo would really complement them. Plus then you wouldn’t have to worry about the weather affecting your hair 🙂
