I love your inspiration photos. I think bangs like shown in the first picture would look really pretty with your face. I'm thinking about getting a change-up in my cut/style too! Winter blahs, maybe?
I'm thinking side swept bangs more than just coming straight down on your forehead, but your hair is gorgeous as is! Still, I totally understand and went in for a trim and came out with the PWC (NOT on purpose... grrrrr).
@lilyfaith - thanks! i tried to find someone that had rockin style that also had similar features as me. I just have the blahs! When I start wearing my hair in a ponytail every other day, I know it's time to change things up. It's so hard in winter, too, to feel pretty and fabulous. I have a Florida warddrobe, but it's freezing here, so I just feel like a piece of blah.
If you need hair suggestions post your pics here! this could be fun.
I'm so bad at anything hair related, but I have a small forehead too! It's more like a two head. Or a three head, if you're generous. Ah ha, I'm funny.
I love your inspiration pics, and I think bangs would look great on you--go for it!
@mouse - I'm just so nervous getting them! my friends with bangs say DO IT! you will love it! And my friends without say that I should stick with some long side ones. Thank you for your input :) You rock your bangs!
I love Francoise Hardy, great choice! The style her bangs are in are really easy to grow out should you decide you hate them, but I think they would work well for you. I love bangs and I've had every incarnation that they can possibly be cut in. They really draw attention to your eyes, and as a fun extra bonus they're really great for hiding the occasional forehead breakout.
I say go for it!
I think bangs would look awesome, they're a great way to change up your look without really changing that much about your actual hair length. If you're nervous about how it'll look start with longer side swept ones. Remember, you can always go back and get them trimmed shorter if you want!

Now that the wedding is over, I need a haircut! Ha, not the PWC, I have been growing it out too long for that. I just want a change and to keep my ends healthy - 2 weeks in the sun and surf have messed up my ends. I was thinking about getting a trim (long layers) and then attempting bangs. Not serious bangs, but something. Here are some inspiration pictures. Does anyone have any suggestions, or warnings? (like, you will look like a yeti with that haircut, or something like that). I have a cowlick in the front on the side, so my inspiration photos are of Francoise Hardy, who also has that same issue. I also have a short forehead, in my opinion, which should be considered with bangs. My hair in the first photo is natural - wavy, no blow dryer or anything. It gets pretty straight when I want it to, and also curls if I use a curling iron. Thank you hive! 2nd opinions are always good if you're thinking about the chop.
