Hey! My sister had her hair and makeup done at our parents in Manch for her wedding (I am getting married at a resort where they have on site people...) She went with Signature Style in Manchester. You could also try Not So Plain Jane's in Manchester. I think they will both come to the house.

I'm having such a hard time with this -- I am just realizing how expensive it is to have your makeup professionally done. I've found a few that are $85 for the bride and $55 for bridesmaids ... it just, baffles me! I know it's important and it will show in pictures but it drives me a little crazy to think about!
I'd love any other suggestions for makeup artists in Boston!
The only suggestion I have for Boston is to try and book soon. My friend (who is a a tad insane about these things) said makeup artists were booked many many months in advance. I'll find out from her who she went with (though I suspect price did not shape her decision!)
Check out Brea Cherne www.makeupbybrea.com Most affordable I've seen and I thought she did a great job at my trial. It's $65 for bride, $45 for others.
Hi! I thought I'd throw out the name of my makeup artist/hairstylist as well! Her name is Lypor (www.lypor.com). She's a tiny bit pricier than the aforementioned MUA/HSs, but she doesn't charge a travel fee, and she AWESOME and to me, worth every penny! Makeup and Hair prices kind of shocked me as well... then again, before our engagement, I hadn't had my hair done since prom, and never had my makeup professionally done! To save some cost, the BMs and my mom, chose to only have their hair done, while I had both hair and makeup done. Our wedding day ended up being a HOT 93 degrees in the beginning of June, and guess who was the only one not looking gross and sweaty all day long?! :)

Check in at the MAC counter in Macys, Salem. That is where I go to get my makeup done and there is a woman there named Candace..she ROCKS at makeup.
