I want to make a playlist to play in my hotel suite while getting ready with my BMs before the ceremony. I’m envisioning a totally awesome morning surrounded by the most important women in my life, sipping some mimosas! I’m open to all types of music. It could start out relaxing and build up to get us pumped before we leave for the ceremony.
So far I’ve thought of:
Going to the Chapel
Say a Little Prayer
That’s What Friends are For
Any other suggestions?

I feel like a woman by shania? That is usually what I play at home when I am getting ready to go out anyway

Cute idea! I think I’ll work on one of these too…
definitely Darlene Love, “Today I Met the Boy I’m Gonna Marry”

Cyndi Lauper – “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” is my ultimate favorite. It brings back great memories of living in the dorms with the gals.

- Wedding: October 2010 - Kindred Oaks, Georgetown
Lean on Me is a good one. Build me up Buttercup is another favorite to sing with friends and get in good spirits. Going to the Chapel is a definite for my “getting ready” playlist too!

Oh, I just heard another great one on the radio!
I Love You Always Forever – Donna Lewis

I like Let’s Get It Started for a pump up song, but that might be a little too crazy for the morning

@Miss Cake- Build me Up Buttercup will definitely have to be on my playlist.
Everlasting Love – Gloria Estefan
Heaven is a Place on Earth – Belinda Carlisle
Forever- Uncle Jesse
And I’d love to wake up to Good Morning Beautiful by Steve Holy!

I love Going to the Chapel, when my sister-in-law was getting married, us BM’s spontaneously sang it while we were walking to the church! It was the most adorable thing!
I would def want to play lots of party-type songs, so that you don’t play something emotional and cry and ruin your make-up!
This is a really good idea, I think I may steal it from you!

If you want a little something to get you dancing, I always love Jagged Edge’s “Let’s Get Married.”
