I really like your hair in the fifth pic!  I don’t think you should worry about it looking sloppy…I think having some hair down gives it a softer look.

So pretty!!! I see what you mean about the lighting at your apt.. it does give you more of a glow. The back of your hair is gorgeous! I love the third and fourth pics though- the hair around your face softens you.

I love your hair! It looks so gorgeous! I do think the lipstick is a little too frosty pink for you though. I think something more translucent would look better. (:

I think your makeup looks great! And your hair definitely doesn’t look too severe. But I do think that it the 5th pic, the right side of your hair looks like it’s falling/a little too messy. But on a whole, it looks great! Who did you use for makeup/hair, btw? Someone in the city? I’m trying to figure out who to use for my wedding, so any nyc recommendations are always great!

Your eye makeup and foundation look beautiful! I also think you should go with a more glossy and less frosty look for your lips.  Also, the pic where you have some pieces of hair around your face looks great!

I have thin hair, too, so I totally feel your pain on the stringy-ness issue. The updo is stunning, and you’re a gorgeous girl! One of the best things about having all your hair back is that it won’t be bothering you, and more importantly, it won’t go from fab to flat from the time it’s styled to the time you’re dancing/toasting/cutting cake, etc.

As far as lip make-up, you’re SO right–stay away from the liner, unless it’s completely filled in and blended. Because we all know that once that lipstick or gloss wears off, you may be left with just the liner, and that’s not too classy. Have you tried Lip Enhancing Gloss by Smashbox?  It’s my absolute favorite!

I love your hair with some of it down!  I also like the liner but agree that a more nude, glossy lipcolor would be better.  The rest all looks great

Oooh your hair looks good each way but I think I prefer the tendrils softening up the look.

And the makeup is awesome with the lipcolor as the one exception. I’d go for something with a little more color and less frost.

So, so pretty!

aww you look so pretty!!
Great job they did. I love your makeup and I agree with you about the lip liner.. however there is a pro to lip liner.. makes that damn lipstick stay on longer.

Your hair. I want it like that!!

You look so ‘bridal’! 🙂

I think your make up looks great! But I would use a lip color thats a little more pink? For the hair, I love the first pic where you have the hair piece in. It’s gorgeous!

The eye makeup is fabulous! Love it.

And the hair is also very very pretty…I love the woven aspect in the back; sleek and sophisticated, but not overly “done.” I have really thin straight hair too, but mine just gets really flat in the humidity…yuck. I think if you just have a few small pieces down it won’t be too bad…I’d probably end up tucking them behind my ear out of habit though…maybe keep that in mind?

Love the hair in the 5th pic!  Definitely looks more romantic.
