I had my second fitting last month. I absolutely love how my hair came out and this is the style I am going with for that day. My inspiration pic came from a Taylor Swift photo.
Make up, I liked it but for some reason it makes my face oily. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to control that? If I wear liquid foundation it looks too “cakey” and it clogs my pores which causes me to breakout instantly.

are you setting the makeup with powder?

YOu look beautiful! I do see the “oily” due to the makeup, but the only recognizable part is on your cheeks, which looks like its due from the flash of the camera.
I can’t really help much on this…. I dont wear make-up except for lip gloss.

@Steffeyy: how are you applying your foundation?

@GroovyHippieChick – my friend, who is doing my make up, applies a make up setting spray that she has from MAC.
@Miss Pez – thank you! I don’t really wear much make up either which is why I need some input, I’m just four days away! 🙂
@mypinkshoes – she uses a liquid foundation that she applies with a brush.

I love the hairstyle! I second using a powder to “set” it.

@Steffeyy: make sure that you are using a water-based foundation. not oil-based. try applying your foundation with a dampened sea sponge for makeup. dab first before blending. i have used this method for over 25 years and it goes on evenly and never cakes.
dust with a light translucent powder. knock any extra powder off of the brush prior to applying to your face. if you don’t, it may appear too thick.
good luck. you are going to make a beautiful bride.

I just might have to steal it!

you look amazing in your dress!

You look beautiful with the hair, make up and dress! If you were to add anything to the makeup, maybe the powder idea would be good to do. I had Airbrush makeup that ended up being kind of shiny, but I left it as it was.
