@Day_In_The_Life:  hair is lovely, so is makeup. I do feel that a little more eyeliner on the bottom eyelid might complete the look even more

My only suggestions would be a different shade of lipstick/gloss…it’s reading a little “jr high” on camera. Maybe less sparkle, more nude?

And I love the back of your hair, I would just ask for more poof up too so you have volume from the front! And a cute hair accessory can always do wonders too:)

I love your eyeshadow! It’s so pretty. The sparkle/sheen really ups the drama factor for a special look.

I agree with pp that the lipstick doesn’t read well on camera. It’s making you look washed-out (makeup for photos vs. regular makeup are often very different). Maybe try and pick a shade with more mauve to play up the eyeshadow?

I also think that some added colour to your bottom lashline would look great. Right now, it looks like there is neither liner or mascara on your bottom lashes. How about just some mascara? It’ll still look natural if put on thin.

I really like your hair at the back. It’s very soft and pretty. From the front though, it looks like a regular pony tail. I agree with PP that you need some drama in the front. Are you having a headpiece (flower? tiara?) Maybe with the headpiece it’d look different. Or have the stylist add some volume to the front at the top.

But the back is great! Love it!

@Day_In_The_Life:  Love the hair.  More blush to accentuate your cheekbones and more eyeliner so your eyes will really pop in pictures.

I agree with PPs to add a bit of color to your lips.

I agree with you that your hair needs a little something in the front to make it modern and young – it looks a little harsh with it pulled back so tight from your face. What if you did something similar in the back, but did a deep side part and gave the area around your hairline a little more volume and soft femininity?

And I agree with PP’s – a slightly richer lipgloss shade would make you look less washed out. Something with a bit more tint, perhaps?

@Day_In_The_Life:  Lovely make up, but  I agree with you about the hair, I think more volume at the top of the updo would do the trick.

You really need an actual color on your lips.  On camera your lips really just blend into your face and its not cute.  Its like you dont have lips at all.  Also add some liner to the bottom lashes or an extra coat of mascara.  It seems unfinished.

I agree that the hair needs to be different, like the PP said maybe some volume in front or a little different styling.

Back of your hair is gorgeous, as others have said, needs something at the front/top though. Makeup is great.

You look beautiful! I do agree with PPs that a different shade of lip gloss or lipstick could possibly look better.  Also agree with PPs that the hair is gorgeous in back but some volume up front could keep the hairstyle modern rather than matronly.

makeup is very pretty, the lipstick is too shimmery though, and as PP said it reads junior high-ish

the back of the hair is gorgeous, however the front doesnt have much pizzaz and just reads “slicked back” , maybe more volume or a sideswept motion wil give more interest. unless of course you are wearing a headband, in which case it will work perfectly.

I think the makeup looks great but I think you ust need to change to a darker lipstick. You skin looks flawless and love the eyes. Maybe play up the lashes a bit more as well! I like the hair in the back I’d just say it needs a bit more volume up top and then you are set!
