We are going with Pamela Lesch with Makeup Artist Charleston...I have heard good things about Covergirl Brides also...but Karen from Covergirl was not very responsive to my emails...so we went with Pamela instead! For hair I am using my hairdresser...her name is Fabienne and she works at Nouveau Salon in Summerville.
I dont usually like going to the Knot...but I will say this...their local boards for Charleston are WAAY more active then this one and there are TONS of reviews on there as well as suggestions.
My hair stylist is traveling to do my hair and makeup which I'm much more comfortable with so I'm not much help with people in Charleston. On a similar note to this though, can I also ask where a good place to get a manicure and pedicure is? I'd probably want gel or acrylic for my manicure. I don't want it to be too expensive but I obviously want good quality.
@june42011: I go to StellaNova, specifically the one in Mt Pleasant...love it.
I am going with Lordis Loft on King St. for both hair and makeup. They seemed to have pretty reasonable prices.
@Ms.Teddy: I've had Pamela do my makeup for lots of events. She is amazing and her work is flawless!
@Ms.Charleston Pearls: that makes me really happy!! I hadnt heard much about her but now Im really happy with my decision!
@Ms.Teddy: I'm using Pamela too! Really excited cause I have heard all good things about her. She has worked with my hairdresser before.
Haha wow. I've booked Pamela for my makeup last month, glad to see she's a positive! :)
Hey girls! Argh, Pamela is already booked! Any other suggestions??
PS @ktisthatbees: she said she loved working with you!
@LuLuTheWife: Stella Nova is great. They were the only salon open for a Monday haircut before our e-pics. The ONLY one!
We're hiring Affair Hair by Tanesha partially because @ktisthatbees hair looked so good :) But since Pamela is already booked, I think we're going with Elina Mille for hair. She's really reasonably priced for all airbrush ($120 for bride, $70 for everyone else!).
I just have to decide if I want to DIY or have it done....ugh

Where are my fellow Charleston brides getting hair and makeup done? Or just hair/just makeup? I've recieved lots of suggestions but the prices are a little ridiculous!
