    Hi all!

Can anyone recommend a salon in the Columbia, MD area (Laurel, Baltimore, etc.) for bridal party hair and makeup?  I have six bridesmaids, so for me, my mom, his mom, and the girls -- we'll need a salon or a team that can handle all nine of us!  The wedding is this June, so I definitely need to lock something down soon.  Any and all recommendations are really appreciated!

    Thanks so much!!!

    Brittany

I am getting married in Sykesville, MD on June 19th (only about 20 minutes from Columbia).  My bridal party is getting their hair and makeup done at A Final Touch Salon in Eldersburg.  I grew up getting my hair done there and love all the people who work there. http://www.afinaltouchsalon.com/

Another option is the Victoria and Albert Salon in Columbia.  I went there to get my hair done for prom my senior year (so it was a long time ago), but they did a gorgeous job then.  http://www.victoriaandalberthair.com/

I can't recommend a place in Columbia, but I'm getting my hair done in Ellicott City at Signature Salon off Baltimore National Pike.  I've gotten my hair done there before and really liked them!

I like Reflections in Medina. The lady who does my eyebrows there is wonderful and does makeup. I havent used her for makeup but she does a nice job on my eyebrows. It is located on route 18 across from Beuhlers. They have a website if you google Reflections Medina Ohio it will come up.  I had my hair done there once for a wedding I was in and it looked great.

I'm having hair and make up come to us.  There are 9 of us.  We're using Up Do's for I Do's.

I also like to work with Up do's for I do's a personal touch for you and your ladies on the wedding day. They start as early as you want and offer great service.

My regular hairdresser is Lindsay at Impressions Hair Studio in Ellicott City and she is wonderful - I know they do wedding hair as well. For my wedding, I used Baltimore Bridal Hair & Makeup and Jamie and Megan came to us (and did a great job).

ETA: We got manicures and pedicures at All About Me Salon in Towson and they do wedding hair and makeup as well; everyone seemed very nice and competent but I can't vouch for them personally (other than our nails, which were awesome).

Hi ladies! How much is everyone budgeting / paying for harid and make-up for the wedding? Some of the prices I've come across initially seem absolutely outrageous. Just curious to find out what you've seen so I can better budget for this expense too. :) THANKS!

I have to plug Hey Red! Inc in Laurel. I was the MOH for my sister's wedding  (in College Park) last August and chose this salon an coordinated all the girls for hair and makeup. They did great lovely work (no pageant hair, if you know what I mean), were really sweet, and were very reasonably priced compared to some other places in the area (I'm looking at you, Victoria and Albert).

They make you do a contract, but it's worth it, because they had plenty of girls on hand to take care of us the day of. (I've been in a bridal party before where there was ONE girl for 7 heads of hair EEK).

I think hair was $50 and makeup $30. Really reasonable, I thought. More expensive for the bride, with the consultation and everything. But the woman who does the brides and MOH is a totaly pro and super nice.

    HeyRed Inc in Laurel!
