- Wedding: August 2010
So, when I get engaged, my retired hairdresser said she would come out of retirement to do the hair for my wedding at a great price. I was so thrilled since she did my hair for seven years, then retired to have a family and I haven’t been happy with anyone since. She is also my sister’s best friend so it just clicked.
Well, fast foward a year later and I can’t get in touch with her! I have sent her multiple emails, made a phone call or two, and even had my sister try to talk to her. She had a second child about 8 months ago and is going through severe post-partum depression.
The problem is…I need to get my hair and makeup trials going! I’m also concerned she might just flake out for the wedding.
I do have a backup stylist I have been hesitating to book with just in case my first choice pulls through, but at this point I am getting nervous. She is still invited to the wedding, but I don’t know if I want her doing my hair anymore.
What do you think? Should I wait a bit longer or just book with my second choice?
