I only gave a tip on the day of the wedding and not on the day of the hair trial.
I did the opposite - I tipped at the trials, which were conducted at their locations. I think it was expected of me, because my hair stylist didn't even offer to give me change when I paid her in cash.
But I didn't tip at the wedding because I read in numerous wedding magazines that you don't tip hair and make up artists when they come to your place to perform their services.
wow, good to know, i would feel weird not tipping though especially when they travel to your home

Hello!
Did you or will you tip for your hair and makeup trials? Both the hair and makeup people are the owners of the companies and they are traveling to me for the wedding, but I am going to their respective salon/home for the trials.
If it means anything, hair trial is $50 and makeup trial is $60.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
