My salon only has 4 hairdressers, but I have 6 of us getting hair done.  Who should be the 2 to get their hair done at the later time?  Do the rest of us wait around at the hair salon while they get their hair done?

    6 people are:

    1. me
    2. MOH
    3. flower girl
    4. my other best friend
    5. my Mom
    6. flower girl's Mom (my Mom's sister)

If I were you, I'd get my hair done as late as possible so that it's freshly done--so definitely go last, and maybe have your MOH go with you?  And I say have everyone hang out the whole time, have some champagne, make it a party!  You're lucky, I'm having one girl do all of our hair, so we're going to be hanging out for a WHILE!

We're dealing with the same thing. Mrs MdPhd - that's a good suggestion to have the bride's hair done last - I hadn't thought of that! Right now, I'm scheduled to go first, a good 5 hours before the wedding starts...hmm...

Yeah I would have thought I would be first for sure...but you make a very good point about freshness.

Do hair salons let you have drinks in there?

I'd get my hair and the flower girl's hair done last.  Little girls tend to run around and are rough on hair, and you'll want to look your absolute best in pictures.

Definitely check with your salon, but my salon encouraged it!  I have been in a couple of weddings where they would allow drinks, but not food, so just give them a call and find out if you can bring in champagne.  I do like the idea about getting the flower girl's hair done later too, because Twista is right...little girls can be rough on their hair!  But definitely go as late in the day as you can, no matter who else you have go with you!

    great advice ladies!

Yesterday I was feeling all awkward about the schedule situation and now I'm looking forward to it!  Maybe I will have the same girl do my MOH and my hair so they kindof coordinate.

And my flowergirl is like the mini-bride, so having us done side-by-side will be cute!
