The type of hair I have: it’s long and curly but it’s hard to explain there’s not much to do with it other than leave it long (maybe straightened maybe not), with all my layers and stuff.
My thought is to just go anywhere and get my hair done, to save money. When I go to Supercuts and they always do a great job and they’re affordable for me.
Then after going there I had planned to go to a makeup artist who specializes in weddings, have her do my makeup and she can play with my hair with the veil from there.
I mean she doesn’t have to cut and wash it, right? Just style it?
I don’t know, what do others of you think? This is purely to save money…

I’m getting my hair done at the Great Clips that I go to to get my hair cut. I’ll be getting my hair cut maybe a month before (just in case something goes wrong) & I’ve already had my hairdresser style my hair similar to how i want it done so i know she is able to do what i want.
My coordinator keeps telling me to “make sure your hair stylist comes to the location to do your hair!” But i think that’ll be too stressful for the day of 😛 I have really long hair (past my waist) which will take too long to curl (that’s all I’m doing is curling & putting just a few pieces up on the crown of my head) and i think it’d be easier to do it before i go to the location so I can focus on all the stuff that i know my coordinator will probably try to make me not do 😛
Good luck with your hair 🙂

If they can get your hair to look the way you want it to, then it doesn’t matter where you get it done. I’ve heard a lot of salons charge extra for “bridal” hairdos even if they’re basically the same as a prom do. If you have any combs or other pieces you want put in your hair, bring them to the hairstylist, and also let her know where the veil is being attached in case she wants to put extra gel in that spot for support or something.

Well, I am going to the girl who usually does my hair and she reasonable ($35 for a cut). I figured it was better than going to a new person who isn’t familiar with my thin, long, sometimes oily hair. I had my hair trial yesterday and I knew I made the right decision. She did an AMAZING job!
I say go with the person you know and trust. Unless you want to just do a basic style that you could typically do, you can go with the knew girl. Either way, there is nothing wrong with Super Cuts and they will want you to look your best just as much as you do!
