Hello! I am getting married on December 5th. I went to have my hair done for the final time yesterday, however, the stylist made the highlights too sparse and dark, and there is a little too much red tone to the hair. Anyone have suggestions for a great colorist in central NJ? Thanks!!

Have you tried Style Seat?

You need to go to a different salon! Or, if you’ve used the same stylist for a long time and have a good relationship with her go to her. Whichever stylist you choose, tell them what you don’t like and what you do like. Find pictures of what you want and show them. With two weeks to go, you need to act fast. Do not attempt to fix your hair on your own. If can give you a suggestion, Aveda salons are top notch. Find one in your area and call them if you want to go with a different stylist. Ask for someone who’s been there for a while that can get you in right away. It might be tough and it might cost you, but your hair will be in your pictures forever. Tell them on the phone that your wedding is 2 weeks away and you need your hair fixed.

@klm92: I am not familiar with NJ area but when you do find a stylist make sure to ask for someone who specilized in color and/ or highlinghs and who is very experienced. I know thats kinda narrowing down your choices a little but they will be the best for fixing your hair. like the PP said you hair is going to be in your pictures forever and you dont want to look back at the pictures and think constantly be thinking I wish I had done better with my hair.
