But she's not the one I was thinking about. Does anyone else remember?
Oh, it was Mrs. Lemon that I was thinking about.

If I wanted something long and flowy, then I'd have to.
I had a full-head sew-in once, I don't recall there being much damage. You just have to be careful taking out the thread.
I wore permanent extensions for 2 years. It was the the strand-by-strand kind that you had to get get reattached every 3-4 months, although the you can reuse the same hair several times. They looked so natural noone could tell I had them. I had them take off this summer because 1)my own hair is pretty long now 2)they do damage hair your somewhat if you don't maintain them meticulously. If you don't brush them out well or pass the 3 month mark they can get badly matted and your own hair starts to get split ends. I loved the fullness they gave me though, and will probably have them put in before the wedding again.
I used to use glue ins. If you are just careful when you take them out, they don't do much damage at all. The trick is to GENTLY comb out the glue using tons of conditioner or oil.
One thing; a lot of extensions don't look so great in an updo, so if that's what you're planning on doing w/your hair, you may want to just try growing your own hair out as much as possible. Even the bonded hair extensions sometimes want to look really 'piecey' when you put them up.
extentions are a great way to get the style you want (i have alopecia and have had either extentions or full lace wig my entire life) - just go to a professional and dont forget they are in there when you go to take down your hair :)
it also depends on the look you are going for if you need them or not...
Great Lengths are awesome extensions I had them done a two years ago. They don't damage your hair. They are costly and they actually make you pay to get them out too- it sucks because you HAFTA goto the salon to get them out since they use their "special" liquid to take them out. They last 4-6 weeks and you can't reuse the hair :(

Is anyone considering hair extensions for their big day?
I have the clip ins, and wore them for my grade 12 graduation, but found them to be kind of uncomfortable after a while..and some were slipping out.
What is your experience with hair extensions that are actually attached to your head? I don't think I'll go with sew in/glue in..I've heard that they do too much damage. What are you opinions?
