My hair is generally short, I’m working on growing it out but I don’t have a ton of time. It’s also crazy fine (I have a lot of it, it’s just really really fine). I’m wondering if I can use extensions to ‘pad out’ my updo for my wedding?
Has anyone done this? Does it work?

It definitely does! One of the Glamour Weddings writers… I think it was Kim Fusaro? (you can look her up on the Glamour weddings site). She wore 2 POUNDS of Hair-U-Wear in her updo!

I had extensions for my wedding. My hairstylist suggested it as I have long, but fine hair. It definitely made it fuller and made it more dramatic. Mine were clip-ons and you could not see the combs in an updo.

My hair is the exact same, super fine. I did the loop and lock extentions and loved them. Because they’re individual you can choose how thick you want it. My hair looked amazing.

@bibbleskip I love my extensions, do it!!!! I have weft extensions but can only do certain types of updos without you being able to see the beads. I think the tape extensions are supposed to be good if you plan on wearing your hair up, I just personally don’t feel comfortable wearing fake hair unless its sewed or clipped in.
