I can't remember the brand that I had used (2 times, once for my sister's wedding)... I remember that the person suggested human hair and if you don't match a color spot on, choose one color lighter. I went with glued in extensions-they last about 2 weeks and come off when you're ready by soaking your head in excessive conditioner. Sewing is painful, I've heard, because they have to braid your hair tightly next to the scalp in order to have somewhere to sew the extensions. Hope this is helpful.
I don't remember the brand, but I got mine from Armstrong McCall. (I had to order them through my stylist, b/c I don't think Armstrong sells to the public...only to salons.) Anyway, mine were human hair, so they can be curled, straightened, etc, and they clipped in. They stayed put all night and were relatively easy to take out when everything was said and done. I liked using clip-ins because they were less painful, and my stylist and I were able to do several trial-runs with them.

I think I'm finally caving and getting hair extensions. The salon says I need to supply my own and suggested I check at Sally's beauty supply. Do any of you bees have suggestions as to type/brand???
Thanks!
